AcuraLink brings Acura vehicles online and integrates them with cloud-based services. When the vehicle owner subscribes to the Connect package, their vehicle is able to send and receive data using a cellular control module. Part of the in-warranty roadside assistance program is to alert Acura of vehicle faults and emergencies. When a fault is detected it is stored in Acura Link and sent to Acura, the vehicle owner has the option to request help, schedule service or decline.

As a technician at an independent repair shop, your customer may decide to bring their vehicle to you for service instead of a dealership. Once you have diagnosed and repaired the fault, you will clear the stored fault codes using an advanced scan tool, such as the Farsight Tablet. However, Acura Link may still display the fault. In this case, you will have to clear the fault using the Acura Link information display.
The procedure below describes how to reset / clear fault codes using Acura Link.
